Todd Heifner serves as the Chief Operating Officer overseeing Business Development and Strategic Partnerships for the Nashville Sports Council and the Music City Bowl. He focuses on maintaining and developing business and strategic partnerships that serve the mission and objectives of both organizations. Todd oversees all revenue-generating activities, including sponsorship sales, membership sales, fundraising, marketing, communications, branding, social media, promotions, advertising, media relations, and community relations.
Prior to his role with the Nashville Sports Council / Music City Bowl, Todd spent 20 years working in the golf and country club industry. As a PGA Professional & Club Manager/COO, Todd served at facilities in Hilton Head (South Carolina), Naples (Florida) and Boca Raton (Florida) before coming to Nashville in 2006 as the General Manager/COO of The Golf Club of Tennessee. After a brief assignment at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida, Todd returned to Nashville in 2017 for his current role with the Nashville Sports Council and Music City Bowl.
Throughout his career, Todd has been involved with numerous golf and sports-related events, including the PGA TOUR Heritage Golf Classic, the EMC Skills Challenge, The Vince Gill Pro-Celebrity Golf Invitational, the DICK’S Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup, the Archie Griffin Celebrity Golf Classic, the United States Women’s Amateur Championship, The Music City Bowl Charity Cup, The SEC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments, the Nashville Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, the Davis Cup, and the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl.
Todd received his undergraduate degree from Oakland University where he was a four-year starter and two-year captain of the men’s golf team. Todd and his wife Jennifer reside in Nashville’s 12South area with their two children and three dogs.
